Darryl Starbird Bubble Top King And More,is a master craftsman, when it comes to building custom cars.He is the Bubble Top King making both single bubbletops, but double bubble top custom cars too.He taught his son the craft as well.At one time he owned the two major car shows:The Grand National, and the Sacramento Autorama.The car is the Predicta in the original color.
Car Craft in the past did have some famous custom cars like the Car Craft Dream Rod,which was restored a fews years ago.It was a Corvair body mostly,with a reworked back,and a 1960 Pontiac front altered.it had floating headlight only on the left side.It had Tbird wire wheel covers,a Hemi engine under the hold,a low custom interior with custom buckets,steering wheel and gauges.The car now looks like it did originally.Car Craft today is a home mechanics magazine.Which covers,engine performance,body work,wheels and tires,better built frames, suspensions systems,todays engines getting the most out of them,headers,blowers,turbo chargers,and electronic fuel injection.
